My name is María Ángeles, and I’m a qualified Spanish teacher with a degree in Translation and Interpreting and a Master’s in Language Teaching. I’ve taught Spanish for over 10 years to students of all ages and backgrounds, but my passion lies in helping adults over 50 — especially English-speaking expats who want to build a new life in Spain.
Through years of experience, I discovered that learning a language is not just about grammar and vocabulary — it’s about confidence, motivation, and feeling supported. That’s why I created a method that focuses on real communication, emotional connection, and a safe, encouraging learning environment.

Frequently asked questions
What is the info session?
The info session is all about getting to know each other so that we are both on the same page about expectations and commitments. We can talk about any doubts or questions you might have, define your objectives and then I will assess your level of Spanish.
If I book the info session, do I have to purchase the program?
No – the info session is used to get to know each other, answer any questions you have about the program and introduce to you the methodology we will use. If for whatever reason you’re not 100% convinced, you don’t have to buy the program.
How do individual Spanish classes work?
Since our Spanish classes are adapted to your needs, the content and structure could vary. The methodology of a typical class is based on developing, above all, oral comprehension (listening) and oral production (speaking) skills. The materials we use can be tailored to your interests so that the lesson is interesting to you.
What platforms do you use for your Spanish classes?
We use Zoom, Hangouts (via Gmail) or Teams – whichever suits you best.
How do I pay for the program?
You can make payments via bank transfer or Revolut.
Once you decide you want to continue with the program, we will send you an invoice with information on how to make the payment.
How can I cancel or change the date of the class?
If for any reason you have to cancel or reschedule your class, you must notify me by email 24 hours in advance of the originally scheduled day and time. Any cancellations made after that will be chargeable for 50% of the fee.
Do I have a deadline to complete the program?
Yes — this program is designed to start and finish within a specific period. The minimum commitment is three months, which is the time needed to build a solid foundation in Spanish and start speaking with confidence.
What material do I need for the program?
A good internet connection, a device (computer, tablet or mobile) and willingness to learn. All the materials to work in class will be sent to you by email.
